Brief Description: Cabin Floor Carpeting: Pilot Side
Installed the cabin floor carpeting in the pilot side using the same carpet as the baggage area. For this task, I vacuumed the cabin floor completely, then wiped down the area to be carpeted with alcohol to clean up any potential lubricant spots. Next, I cut a piece of carpet slightly oversized to the area to be carpeted and put it in place to make final dimension marks. I trimmed the carpet piece to match the marks and test fit again to make sure everything was okay. Lastly, I lay down multiple carpet tape strips to all the edges and several spots in the middle and worked the carpet piece into place.
All this was accomplished by essentially standing on my head!
