Brief Description: Elevator Trim Wire Bundle Install
Secured the elevator trim wire bundle from the horizontal stabilizer to where it connects, via 9-pin Dsub, to the matching wire bundle running from the cockpit.
The challenge was getting far enough aft in the fuselage to secure the bundle away from the lightening hole edge at the top of the horizontal stabilizer forward frame. As it turns out, the hole is unreachable from inside or outside the fuselage. Instead, I secured the bundle to the top of the horizontal stabilizer providing clearance from the lightening hole as it passed though to the upper longeron. From that point, installation involved some significant stretching and one-handed tool application to secure the wire bundle along the upper longeron to where it meets the wire bundle coming from the cockpit.
