Had a busy 2 weeks, but finally got back out to the garage to fabricate 2 replacement horizontal stabilizer mounts for the ones I'd previously misdrilled. This is the first time I wish I had a bandsaw as cutting these two pieces out of 0.063 aluminum was labor intensive. I finally gave up on the hacksaw and switched to my Olfa knife, scribed the cut lines and snapped the aluminum. This gave me clean, straight cuts with just a little filing and sanding left to finish them. Back to the hangar to mark and drill the new mounting holes.
Two new mounts (middle 2) next to original (outside 2), misdrilled right-side mounts.
