Began installing the horizontal stabilizer. This is a direct result of my trying to install the rudder. In order to know how precisely to trim the rudder front skin, I need to know where the saddle will match up to the rudder. In order to know where the saddle will be, I need to install the horizontal stabilizer. In order to install the horizontal stabilizer I needed my dremel to trim out a little more of the rear top skin. My dremel was safely stored in my garage back at the house. Hmmm...
At least a got a few more tools out to the hangar and I know what I'll be doing next weekend. I did manage to reopen the access door in the belly and hook up the ELT to power and I took the top cowl off the engine so not a complete waste of time.
Plus, I got in a couple of hours of C172 time while I was out at the airport.
