Brief Description:  Right Wing Nav/Strobe Power Cable Secured

Secured the right wing nav/strobe power cable where it runs across the cabin behind the seats. In order to avoid interference with the radio, I ran both (L & R) nav/strobe power cables down the left side of the cockpit and ran the VHF antenna down the right side. To date, I've just had the right with nav/strobe power cable loosely laying behind the seat so I set to securing it.

I measured across the rear frame channel (where the rear edge of the wing attaches) to evenly space out 8 cable tie mounts. I then drilled pilot holes for each mount, updrilled them to 1/8" rivet size, and deburred the holes. For each cable tie mount, I placed a small washer in the base of each mount and then placed a rivet through the mount/washer combo and riveted through the hole. Some of the mounts were easy to install and some of them required some serious contortions, but the result is a row of cable tie mounts ready for cable ties.

Next, I threaded cable ties through each of the mounts which is a real dexterity test as they were mostly only reachable with 1 hand and the ties had to be shaped around each rivet head in order to fit through the threading slots at each side of the mount. With the ties in place, it was a comparatively simple task to (again, 1-handed!) loop each cable tie and pull it tight. That cable's not going anywhere!
