Brief Description:  Fuel Plumbing Through the Cabin 7

With the four feed/return lines more permanently attached to the fuel selector, today's task was to fit the 2 forward lines (return and feed). Once again, I temporarily installed the selector valve with the 4 aft hoses connected and measured off the the two front hoses. Once they were cut, I coated the hose barbs on the selector with silicone seal lube and attached the forward feed and return fuel lines to it. Once the hoses were all installed, I attached the fuel selector to the center console left sidewall, reattached the selector wiring, and called it done!

Next, I finished the center console right sidewall by lining the notch where the fuel lines route through the console with a rubber seal to protect the fuel lines from chafing. Next, I measured and drilled out the location for the two holes leading out of the cockpit into the wing root where the existing hoses lead to/from the left fuel tank. After installing ruber grommets into the holes,I fed through two fuel lines and connected them to the hoses on the cabin floor. These temporary external fuel lines will be used to feed into a portable fuel tank for upcoming engine tests.
