Brief Description:  Manifold Pressure Sensor Hose install

Received the manifold pressure sensor hose in the mail yesterday and installed it this morning. This manifold pressure sensor is used by the Dynon system to display performance information in the cockpit. The ULPower also has its own separate manifold pressure sensor that feeds information to the ECU. This hose connected to the engine manifold via a banjo eye/banjo bolt assembly. To install the hose for the Dynon sensor, I purchased a double banjo bolt, which allows two banjo eyes to be attached to it, and an additional banjo eye for the added sensor hose.

Installation involved removing the original single banjo bolt and eye and replacing it with the double banjo bolt and 2 banjo eyes (plus 3 copper crush seals). I loosely installed the bolt so that I could rotate the new banjo eye (with manifold pressure hose attached) into a good position for routing the hose aft. I assembled 2 double adel clamps together which hold the new manifold hose securely to the engine mount without touching other parts of the engine, then cut the hose to size at the manifold presure sensor previously mounted on the firewall.
