Brief Description:  Dual Throttle Linkage Complete

I received the 2 threaded rod-end bearings from ACS yesterday and proceeded to attach them to the theaded ends of the throttles this morning. I was pleased to find that I had chosen the proper length bearing as they were easily adjustable to allow throttle movement from idle to full power and allow 3/8" of cushion for the throttle control knob off the instrument panel. This will ensure I never find myself in a position where the throttle control knob is fully against the instrument panel with less than full power!

The two rod-end bearings are connected to each other and the engine throttle arm by an AN3-12 bolt. I used a washer on each end of the bolt plus three washers between the two bearings to keep them apart and parallel with each other. I also used a washer between the pilot side rod-end bearing and the throttle arm on the engine. I went through several bolt lengths and washer combinations until I found the one that ensured the best fit all around.

Throttles complete.
