Brief Description:  GPS Antenna Mounted

After a 30-day break involving work, family visits and world travel, I finally got back to the aircraft today. I started off with something simple to get back into the swing of things. Today's task was to finish off the GPS antenna mount and get the GPS antenna installed in the airplane. Much of the ground work had already been accomplished so today it was a simple task to attach 4 nut plates to the antenna mount to accept the 4 screws that attach the GPS antenna to the mount. Once I had the GPS antenna attached to the mount, I attached the whole assembly to its final position on the upper firewall stiffener. Hopefully, the antenna will have a broad enough view of the sky from under the upper engine cowl in this position.
