Brief Description:  Avionics Install 1

Started determining the placement, installation and wiring of the avionics today. It's sort of like a big puzzle to be solved. The challenge is to arrange (and eventually secure) 4 avionics black boxes (transponder, ADS-B, Comm Radio, Engine Management System), a network hub, and a backup battery onto the avionics shelf I previously fabricated. The puzzle is arranging all of the pieces in such a way that the pre-made wire harnesses can reach all of their assigned attachment points and that additional wires/cables (like attenna cables, ELT connection, aileron/elevator trim, landing/taxi lights, nav/strobe lights) can still be connected to the back of the power panel.

As you can see by the rats nest in the attached images, I still have some thinking to do.
