Brief Description:  GPS Antenna Mount Fabrication

Borrowing an idea from fellow Zenith builder, I've decided to mount my GPS antenna inside the engine bay underneath the fiberglass engine cowl. To do that, today I fabricated a mounting bracket that will attach to the firewall top stiffener. The project was fairly straightforward using extra 0.034" sheet metal and several L-angles to stiffen the platform. I will eventually attach the mount using a pair of AN3 bolts.
