Brief Description:  Nose Gear Safety Wire

While procrastinating on the brake lines (and parking brake), I backtracked to the nose gear to do some safety wiring.

The nose gear assembly rests on a bottom bearing which is attached to the nose gear lower bearing support - a kind of fork. The bearing material is oil impregnated teflon and it is attached to the aluminum bearing support via 4 x AN4-sized bolts that I had tapped holes for into the bearing material. The bolts are snugged into place, but not torqued to spec since tightening them that much may result in stripped tap holes. Instead, each pair of bolts are safety-wired to each other in such a way that they prevent each other from backing out.
