Brief Description:  Oil Pressure and CHT Sensors

Began by fabricating a hose that links the oil system to a pressure sensor. The (UL provided) hose runs from a dedicated port in the left side of the crankcase to any off-engine position desired (to avoid vibration). In this case I chose to attach the sensor to the left side mount plate already attached to the engine mount (holds the left ignition coil). Once the mounting position was established, I measured the distance, cut the stainless braided hose, and attached the two provided fittings to the two ends of the hose. The banjo fitting and banjo bolt were attached to the crankcase and the oil pressure sensor was attached to the other end. I affixed the sensor to the mounting plate using an adel clamp attached via the same bolt that clamps the lower aft corner of the mounting plate to the engine mount.

The Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensors were straitforward. ULPower provides 4 threaded mounting points on the cylinders to attach the sensors to. The Dynon sensor package comes with adapters for this very sized port. So all that normally needs to be done is to screw the 4 adapters into the ports and then attached the sensors to the adapters with a 1/4-turn locking mechanism.

This would've been an easy task except one of the pre-cut baffles had a CHT sensor hole slighly out of alignment preventing the forward-right sensor from locking into the adapter. It took a couple of trips to and from the workbench with the baffle to dremel the hole size out to one that allowed the connection.
