Brief Description:  Oil Cooler Fitting 1

Began this morning with the intention of installing all the oil cooler hardware onto the engine only to find out the factory oil filter is on too tight to remove by hand. So I ordered an oil filter wrench which will arrive later today and worked on the one part I could already access: the radiator.

The oil cooler radiator fits on the two bolts that held a protective steel plate used in shipping. Removing the two hex nuts and steel plate was easy. I then assembled the two brackets that secure the radiator to the engine via a rubber, vibration isolation contraption. I also attached two 150-degree swivel braided hose fittings to assist in sizing the final hose lengths. I then called it quits until tomorrow when I can remove the oil filter and continue with the rest of the assembly.
