Brief Description:  Electric Fuel Selector Valve Install

Attached the electric fuel selector valve to the left side panel of the center console. The fuel selector valve allows me to switch between wing tanks quickly and efficiently. Since my engine is fuel injected, more fuel is pulled from the tank and pumped to the engine than is actually burned. The excess fuel is routed past the engine and back to the fuel tank. It's important that a fuel selector return fuel to the tank from which it was originally taken to prevent over-filling a tank with the other tank's return fuel. That's precisely what this selector valve prevents.

The valve came with a bracket that allows the selector to be attached to a flat surface at such an angle as to ensure the fuel line attachment points are facing the right direction. To ensure I will still be able to remove the selector for maintenance/replacement purposes at a future date, I attached the selector bracket to the center console sidewall using screws and nutplates.
