Brief Description:  Steel Bungee Complete

Finished installing the steel bungee. Started by reassembling the top and bottom saddles with the now painted steel spring in between them. Then I slid the assembly down through the center of the nose gear strut until the groove in the lower saddle fit over the nosewheel strut internal cross tube where the top loops of the rubber bungee cord used to fit. Simultaneously, I ensured the two steel strap posts fit through the two side holes in the upper saddle. Once everything was in position, I tightened the the nuts at the top of the two steel straps until they produced some tension, then tightened the nut in the center of the upper saddle to slightly relieve the tension.

All that's left to do is make final adjustments once the engine is installed and safety wire the two steel strap nuts in place.
