Got out the Makita buffer and Nuvite NuShine II F9 polishing compound and started to work on the right side of the fuselage today. I had a small surgery last week so I'm prevented from "exercising" or "bending over" so I figured I could polish the side of my fuselage sitting in my rolling workbench stool.
It's been over a year since I've done any polishing, but the techniques came back quickly ... as did the black, smudgy residue that covers everything!
After 4 passes with F9 compound. I'll switch to "C" compound once the rest has had 4 passes.
Made it about half-way to the front before quitting today.
