Brief Description:  Fuselage and Canopy Finishing

Began the process of reassembling everything I'd taken apart, but not until I disassembled a little bit more. Started out by removing the forward top skin (in front of the cockpit) so that I could install the two NACA air vents permanently. I finally picked up the caulk (DAP Alex Plus latex w/silicon) to seal the plastic vents to the inside of the fuselage skin before riveting in place. Now they're both permanent.

Next, I reassembled the aft rear canopy frame and rollbar then permanently installed them: 4 x AN3 bolts for the rollbar and 6 rivets for the canopy frame.

I also applied the "EXPERIMENTAL" decal to the baggage bulkhead where everyone can see it before they enter the aircraft as required by the FAA. I received this from the EAA as a part of their homebuilt registration kit.
