Brief Description:  Rear Frame, Upper Longeron Doubler Complete

Finished riveting the rear frame The rear frame serves many purposes. In addition to adding significant lateral strength to the fuselage floor, the rear frame houses the attach plate where the aft spar of the wings attach, it supports the bearings for the flaps control torque tube, it provides a foundation for the upper channel which serves as a major support for the baggage floor. Lots of rivets from the bottom and the sides but once in place, the plane is even more solid.

I also riveted the upper longeron doubler which provides a smooth, curved interior edge for the occupants, strengthens the upper longeron, and serves as a straight, flat surface for the canopy frame to rest on when it's closed.
