Brief Description: Off the Table - On the Sawhorses
Today was moving day of a sort. I finally made the jump off the table and moved onto sawhorses. Since it was impossible to perform any work on the aircraft belly while on the table, and I had run out of things I could build by flipping them, I decided it was time for a change. The hardest part was disassembling the table - I think I over-engineered it originally.
Using much of the wood from the old (now disassembled) table, I was able to cobble together a new work bench with a shelf under it. It sits right next to the airplane for convenience, but doesn't take up too much room (30" x 72").
After fuselage and cabin floor on the sawhorses.
Gives me a llot more room in the garage.
Took some of the parts from the disassembled table to make a 30" x 72" workbench by the plane.
