Brief Description:  Control Stick Torque Tube Install

Installed the control stick torque tube today. The torque tube is the central load bearing mechanism for the aileron and elevator controls and runs from just behind the seats (where the aileron cable attaches to it) to just in front of the wing center spar.

First I measured, drilled out, and attached the rear bearing support (with bearing attached to it) for the tube after carefully ensuring the bearing was 90 degrees to the tube and the tube was level. Next, I measured, drilled out the bearing hole, cut to size (with a hacksaw), fit, leveled, and attached the front bearing (attached to heavy angles on the center spar). Then I test fit the control stick to the torque tube just to see how it all will eventually come together,
