Took a couple of days off while I scratched my head over an inconsistency between the plans (the only true source!), the Zenith-supplied photo assembly guides, and the HomebuiltHelp.com video. It seems Zenith updated the seat back side angle in 2011 so the photo assembly guides and the video were out-of-date. I sent an email out to Zenith Monday and Tuesday moring had the answer back from Caleb (chief aero engineer): "Look ahead 2 pages in the plans." Confusion resolved! ;-)
Began work on the baggage floor immediately aft of the seats. This begins by attaching an L-angle to the side skin to fix the upper seat support angle. Next, an L-angle is attached along both rear fuselage side skins at the top of two rear fuselage side skin braces and on top of the previously installed rear frame channel where it continues on to the underside of the upper seat support.
Next, I'll be attaching the upper channel (connected to the 2 upright channels) to span across the fuselage near the middle of the baggage floor.
