Brief Description:  Upper Rudder Hinge, Gear Channel

Attached and drilled out (pilot holes) the cabin floor to the rear fuselage. This is done by connecting the fore and aft edges of the main gear channel to the aft fuselage and cabin floor. I also drilled out the rear seat panel and attached it to the same rivet line as the gear channel. The rear seat panel is the lower 1/3 of the seat back and reclines about 30 degrees. It also has a lightening hole through which the rudder and elevator cables pass from the forward portion of the fuselage.

I also pre-positioned the middle spar to check for fit. The middle spar receives the main spar of the two wings and secures them to the aircraft. The middle spar also defines the forward edge of the seats.

If you squint really hard you can almost start to see the shape of an airplane.
