Popped open the leading edge skin to start finishing off some of the tasks associated with it. This morning the task was expanding the hole in the skin to better fit the fuel filler threaded flange (which holds the fuel cap) so that it will fit flush with the skin. This was some simple work with the Dremel.
I then reinstalled the aileron and added weights to the balance bar (now painted with rustoleum in a very tasteful blue metallic color!) until the aileron resets back to the neutral position after you poke it up or down,
Lastly, I added the top skin protection plate in case the aileron ever over-deflects and the balance bar bumps against the wing skin.
Fuel filler hole Dremeled out in size to fit the filler threaded bushing flange.
