Brief Description:  Left Wing Final Assembly - Begin Riveting

Started the day off reassembling the entire wing (minus the flaps). This was the first time I'd done this and it wasn't without a few hiccups. The biggest challenge was loosening up the seemingly tight tolerances I had on the spanwise stiffeners. They were so (unnecessarily) close to the rear ribs that they prevented me from making small shifts in the top skin to get it to fit. I little filing and dremeling took care of that and eventually, I got everything together.

Wing tips also were a challenge, especially where the outboard spanwise stiffener (yep, them again!) met the wingtip. It took some careful prying, bending, and cursing to get the tip to slip into place and line up on the predrilled holes. My "1 hour reassembly" ended up taking about 3 hours.

Once reassembled, it was just a matter of riveting. All 700 or so of them! I stopped before I got the flap attached and without riveting the wingtip.
