Brief Description:  Left Wing Top Skin Final Prep

With my fuel tanks nearly back from the welders (due back today!), I decided to take care of a few final prep items before my Tech Counselor visit. This morning I continued deburring the top flanges of the wing spars. This morning I worked on the back half of them and will work the front when I reposition the wing skin further aft.

With the top skin fully deburred and sanded, I taped up the rivet holes on the outside surface of the skin to keep the anti-corrision paint from seeping through the rivet holes to the outside skin side. Then I flipped the skin over and painted all the mating surfaces (rivet lines) and left it to dry.
