Brief Description:  Aileron Bellcrank Cross Braces and More Wiring

I got back from my visit to Zenith Aircraft's Open Hangar event motivated to get the left wing closed up and finished.

First, I finished off the aileron bellcrank channel cross braces (L angles) by fitting them, drilling them out through the top skin, updrilling them to A4 rivet size, deburring, sanding, painting and riveting them to the bellcrank channel. They'll be in good position for riveting when I place the top skin in position for final riveting.

I also wrapped the landing/taxi light wired with nylon spiral wrap to keep them in a tight bundle as they snake through the wing to the root.

Finally, I assembled a plans notebook handed out to all the attendees of the Open Hangar event this weekend. This clever device applies Zenith's building standards to a kit, with detailed plans provided by Zenith containing aluminum sheets, piano hinges, and a 3-ring binder clip. The final result is a professional-looking notebook that's just the right size for holding the zenith plans. They even used their CNC router to carve the company logo into the notebook cover.
