Brief Description:  Fuel Cap Fitting

Still fiddling with the fuel cap fit. Today I popped open the leading edge wing again so that I could get at the fuel filler hole in the leading edge. Using a dremel with sanding drum, I carefully increased the diameter of the hole about 3mm. I then reattached the leading edge skin - if you remember, this involves 4 x ratchet straps, a couple of 2 x 4s and a bit of patience while that skin is tightened down onto the main spar - which took about 15 minutes. The threaded flange cap assembly fits much closer to the skin, but the next time I have a reason to lift the leading edge skin I'll open the hole up a couple of millimeters more.

I also began final routing of the landing/taxi and nav/strobe wires to their spot in the outboard end of the wing forward of the main spar. This time I'm using adel clamps to rout the wires around the ribs and spar.
