Got a couple of important shipments in last night: Nav/strobe shielded cable, Whelen LED landing & taxi lights, landing/taxi light wire, and a bunch of 3/8 inch nylon grommets.
With all these items I was able to install all the nylon grommets into the holes I'd previously drilled into the ribs and finish routing the wiring and tubing in the wing. First, I ran the nav/strobe shielded cable through the top row of nylon grommets. Next, I cut the landing/taxi light wires to length and labeled the ends using a label maker and clear heat shrink tubing, then put connectors on the end to be attached to the lights, and ran the wires through the 2nd row of grommets. Third, I ran the pitot (airspeed) hose through the 3rd grommet row and the static hose through the 4th row. The 5th row, at the top rear of the ribs, will hold the aileron trim cable after the aileron is installed.
Another shipment due tonight so I can get at the aileron cables.
