Brief Description:  Nose RIbs and Skin Install

Saturday morning I woke up and went at it. I drilled out all 7 nose ribs to attach them to the main spar flanges with the wing right-side up. I then flipped the wing over, using my trusty twin locking pulley system and carefully placed the nose skin into the precise position for drilling - a 10mm rivet line - no more, no less. I drilled out about half of the spar holes, especially those aligned with rear ribs, then drilled out all the nose ribs through the nose skin.

I then flipped the wing back over to right-side up and got out my 4 ratchet straps and a couple of lengthy 1 x 3 boards to smoothly bend the nose skin into position under the top skin for drilling. Before bending the skin all the way down, I marked a 10mm rivet line along the entire upper edge of the skin. After cranking the ratchets down good and tight with the nose skin tucked under the top rear skin, I could see my rivet line visible through the existing pilots holes. Victory! ANd all that in only 1.5 hours. Well, it was my second time - and I had spent the last month overthinking the problem.
