This morning I leveled up the newly riveted skeleton with the bottom skin attached and updrilled all the rib holes to A5 (final) rivet size. I'm keeing the leading and trailing edge rivet lines at pilot hole size. The leading edge remains as pilot holes so I can better fit the replacement nose skin that I've ordered. The trailing edge so I can fit the flap and aileron more accurately.
Speaking of which, this morning I brought the left flap and aileron up from the basement (yes, they fit up the stairway!!) to I could test fit them and then drill out their respective piano hinges. Since the wing is already upside down, I'll do the flap hinge first, but I still put the aileron next to it to confirm spacing between them and with the bolt attached to the aileron horn.
