This is about my 15th attempt at making a good prop pattern. (And the simplest) I took a piece of paper an cut it into strips... but not quite cutting to the edge. I layed the paper over the spnner and taped the paper back together letting it form the contour of the spinner. Then, I kept trimming and inching up on the achual shape of the prop. The trailing edge of the paper was then trimmed to fit the back plate.
