A few weeks ago I found a problem with the circuit board that the switches are attached to. I decided to order a new one. It came in a few days ago.
While I'm replacing it, I also decided to change the wiring to it. I had the wiring looped up through a large molex connector. I was thinking that it would make it easier to disconnect everthing if I needed to remove the panel. It ended up just making everything more confusing.
So, I removed the old circuit board and installed the new one. While doing so, I changed out all of the wires going to the unit.
The big test came when I checked all the wiring again. Everything worked perfectly.
EXCEPT... when I was checking out the flaps... the device that automatically senses the position twisted and broke!!
