This afternoon was a great time to tart strimming the canopy. The temperature is over 100 degrees.
Cormac swung by for a bit to help me move the canopy to the table. I covered the table with a blanket and have a number of boards to use to brace the canopy.
First, it says to put a line down the middle of the canopy. I tried measuring and ended up using a string to measure across it. (I folded the string in half to find the middle.)
I practiced using the "bone saw" on pieces of the canopy that are scrap. When I felt like I knew what I was doing, I tackeled the back cut. (It went smoothly.) Next, I made the cut in the front. It was a bit harder cutting curves.
