I took the day off today and was planning on working on the project most of it. But, I ended up zipping over to the Honda dealer and picking up a new pickup. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse... 0% financing. It took almost the WHOLE day to complete the deal. Paper work, paper work, paper work!
When I got over to the hangar, one of the first things I tackled was the exhaust support. I had Googled other projects and came over thinking I had a plan. But, it still wasn't working out right.
Those dang clamps are impossible. I ended up squeezing them together with some one handed clamps, then using some needle nose vice grips to squeeze them closed. Since I know I'm going to have the clamps on and off a dozen times while I am fitting them, I used longer bolts and regular nuts.
I bolted the support tabs on the sump and am baffled with how to get them to work with the wiring and hoses I have already installed.
