I had ordered an oil level warning device about a year ago. It lets you know when the oil level is low. (Not the pressure… but the actual level of the oil.) It fits in one of the oil drain plug holes and connects to a warning light on the panel. I was going to wait until the first oil change to install it because the engine already has the break-in oil in it. Cory convince me to drain the oil and install it now. (Smart guy!)
Thank goodness he did. I never would have gotten the drain plug out. Even with a cheater bar on a ½ socket… we couldn’t break it free. Cory ended up using the exact opposite approach to the wings. He heated up the engine case near the plug and it came right out.
