Brief Description:  Finishing fuselage rail rivets

This afternoon as I was taking everything apart to clean the shaving out of the fuselage, I decided to do something about the dozen or so rivets that weren't driven in the fuselage. (Depending on the canopy type, different variations are made in the quick build fueselage.)

I looked up the different types of rivets used and started to work. Most I was able to squeeze, but a few needed to be driven. (It was sorta fun to drive rivets again:-) I only had to drill out two.

There are some rivets near the fuselage skin that I wasn't able to get at with the squeezer or rivet gun. They are a few of many holding the doubler plate on. I'll give Vans a call tomorrow and see what they say about using pull rivets.

I also worked on getting the fuselage cleaned up.
