I cut a few pieces of wood to keep the center control cover raised evenly from the bottom skin. I used a corner drill to dirll the four attach holes. Then, drilled the nutplates and squeezed them onto the control cover.
Next, I worked on the fuel valve plate. The fuel valve called for a 1 inch hole. (I didn't have a 1 inch hole saw, so I enlarged the center hole to 3/4 of an inch, then used the dremel tool to enlarge it to the proper size.
I then finished drilling the rest of the holes for the valve using the pattern. It looks pretty cool!
