Bleeding the brakes with an expert turned out to be a non event. Ken has done it oodles of times and just used a pressurized can to slowly push the brake fluid up from the wheel.
We spent as much time cleaning up as he did bleeding them. (An RV-9A landed at the airport and we went to look at it and some fluid leaked onto the floor.)
