The pushrod between the control system and the pitch bell crank needed to be a bit longer. I had torqued the rear rod end earlier. I took the entire assembly apart to move the rod end out a bit more. I wanted to even out the spacing on both rod ends. (I put a piece of safety wire through the hole unttil the threaded end hit it. Then, I screw it in 4 more turns. Just to make sure.)
I then put the elevator bell crank back together and torqued the bolts.
