Brief Description:  Drilling the axle nut

Cory is up from Colorado and hopefully he will help me on some projects I have been puzzled by. He is doing an annual on the 172 and has found some 'issues' that will take a few days to resolve.

But, during a free minute, he was able to help me with the axle nuts. They didn;t seem to fit correctly when we installed them in January, so we took off the wheels and checked everything out. Now they seem to be fitting perfect!

Cory torqued the nuts and drilled the axle to mark where I was to drill through. When I drilled through the axle, I had Cormac sit at the end of the wing making sure the bit was heading through the middle of the axle. From my vantage point, I was able to keep it aligned in the other axis.

One chore I have been dreading... checked off!
