The support in the wingtip needs to fit the shape of the fiberglass pretty dang close. I fluted the piece until it was close. Then, marked it's location. Drilled the holes for it. Next, I mixed up some epoxy with flox and put a layer inside the tip. The support was then inserted into the tip. Hopefully, after the epoxy hardens, everything is still lined up.
