The engine for the plane is in the process of being overhauled. Cory. Cormac's son, who has been helping with questions, concerns, and worries is working on it in Colorado. Cory is an A&P mechanic and has worked on airplanes his entire life. (He was also one of my fifth grade students years and years ago.)
He had some questions on the angle of the oil and fuel fittings. So, I dug out the parts and instructions and layed out how everything fits together. I sent him off the pictures and will be sending him the parts soon.
Today worked great for doing this instead of working in the hangar. It has been REALLY cold. I find it difficult to work very long when the hangar gets much below 40 degrees.
