AGH!! Dad was going to come back today and we were going to drive more rivets... but when I looked closely at the rivet heads, I was worried we had flattened them out too much. So, I just kept looking at them, measuring them, and worrying.
I called an A & P mechanic and asked him to swing by and look at them. (He was busy.) Luckily, another A & P (Albert) happened to stop at a hangar nearby. He was kind enough to swing by and check out the job so far. He looked closely at the rivets and circled about 10 that needed to be drilled out. So, I spent the rest of the work time drilling them out and replacing them.
