Today in the late afternoon, Dad came by and assisted with finishing up the trailing edge of both elevators. Earlier, I had ground down a squeezer head to the angle of the elevators. (With the rudder, I ground down both heads, but with the bottom of the elevator flat, I figured I should only grind down one.) I set the rivets randomly and partially the first time through. Then squeezed them the rest of the way. I went back and used the rivet gun to finish the set. (Using a backplate)
After this was done, I used blind rivets in the remaining holes on the sides of the elevator.
