This afternoon I decided to glue the trailing edge of the rudder. I mixed up some T-80 epoxy instead of the wing tank sealant. (I've read how awful it is to work with.) I carefully spread a thin coat on each side od the AEX wedge. I used an aluminum bar to keep the two rudder skins apart and slipped the wedge into place. Then I clecoed the trailing edge to the square aluminum bar. Some of the epoxy oozed out and began worrying about glueing the clecos to the rudder PERMANENTLY. After about and hour, I took the cleco's out one by one and cleaned them off. Tomorrow morning I plan on doing this again.
