Brief Description: Horizontal and Vertical Stab Install
Dang, I should have taken some pictures of the installation of the vertical and horizontal stabilizer. I was extremely careful while installing the tow pieces. I read the directions for each again, checked all the rivets. (I ended up replacing 3) Then, I attached everything and torqued the bolts. (I actually checked the torq on all bolts twice then used torq seal to mark them.
I actually had a heck of a time installing the vertical stabilzer. It just didn't want to go on. I didn't want to bend anything too far. But, with a little persuading it finally fit.
I replaced all of the nuts with new nylon lock nuts and checked and rechecked the size of each according to the plans.
It actually was very pleasant slowing down and savering the install.
