I decided to try my luck at getting the PTT switch wired up. I lucked out and it went together easily. I'm worried about things vibrating loose so I put three layers of heat shrink wrap over it. I'm going to hook up to the switch with a Molex Connector so I drilled a small hole in the bottom of the stick and used some braided protector to keep the wire protected.
I'm not sure how much I'll have the extra stick in after the initial fly-off... and don't imagine using the passenger PTT much at all.
