I spent more time trying to figure out how my hidden hinge worked for the oil door than I did getting the hole cut and the door installed. (The hinge part that fits to the cowling needs to be BACK from the top of the door.)
Followed the plans, and except for the hidden hinge, it worked like a snap. Used the Sonic Crafter to cut the major part of the hole and my Dremel tool to cut the rest. Then, used a file to sneak up on the edge.
