After thinking and re-thinking through the connection of the exhaust support bracket, any way it is connected, the support system is going to rub against the main wiring to the firewall. Even though I have the wiring covered, I think it would be best to re-route it so it all goes on the other side of the engine mount.
So, I disconnected the wiring and moved it to the other side of the mount. I actually moved one wire at a time so I wouldn't screw it up.
When it was finished, I was actually happy with the way everything ended up. I used 2 adel clamps to support the wire off the engine mount.
I checked that everything electrical still worked!
